I think I am getting the hang of this writerly life. This is what I have done so far:
- Cleaned out the closet in my office, and organized my desk drawers (sort of) and my Canadian Tire supplementary drawers. One cannot have too many drawers anymore than one can have too many books. In the case of my office, I do not have room for more of either, however, this has never stopped me before. The hall outside my office is accumulating boxes I’ve noticed, but hey, it’s a start.
- On Friday, I signed up for the Canscaip Prairie Horizons Conference in September. This took superior negotiating skills on my part. My husband, always supportive, but extremely busy in September,agreed and I booked the flight and sent in the registration immediately before there was time for a change of heart.
- I also signed up for a mentor to give me some unbiased, constructive criticism with one of my projects.
- Oh yes, I am tweeting, and following, and blogging. What fun!
As the sailors of old were fond of saying,”This is the life for me.”
